Open access and licensing
Launch preparation · Editorial proposals dated 25 October 2026. Public submissions are closed. Policies and article limits await scientific and publisher ratification.
Proposed Diamond Open Access model
IDGH's preferred launch model is free access for readers with no submission or article processing charges for authors during the initial phase. This remains subject to formal approval by HEALTH4OL and confirmation of sustainable funding. No fee schedule or waiver programme is currently in force. Any future change must be publicly announced before it applies to new submissions and must not influence editorial decisions.
Copyright and reuse
Author retention of copyright and publication under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) are proposed. The final agreement must be approved before submissions open. CC BY 4.0 permits sharing and adaptation, including commercial reuse, with appropriate attribution, a licence link and an indication of changes; it does not imply endorsement. Third party material may carry different terms, clearly identified in captions.
Preservation and identifiers
The journal will prepare persistent metadata, ORCID support, DOI registration and digital preservation. No DOI prefix, ISSN, preservation membership or indexing is claimed at this stage. Authors must not assign invented identifiers to manuscripts. Preservation arrangements and the deposit policy will be published when verified.
Read CC BY 4.0. This page describes a proposal; it does not retrospectively license material for which the publisher lacks rights.
